There are many opportunities for wildlife encounters, including rock wallabies and possums. There are many interesting birds in the local area including sunbirds, Brahminy kites, figbirds, rainbow bee-eaters, forest kingfishers, spangled drongos and the islands ubiquitous bush stone curlews.
